WHICH SESSION IS THE ONE FOR ME?

BOXING CLASSES

THIS SESSION WILL TEACH YOU THE ART OF BOXING WITH ONE OF OUR EXPERIENCED COACHES.   THE SESSIONS ARE FAST PACED AND CONCENTRATE ON  DEVELOPING SKILL AND TECHNIQUE.

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? 

FOR YOUR FIRST SESSION YOU WILL NEED TO BRING GLOVES AND HAND WRAPS.  ONCE ARE EXPERIENCED ENOUGH TO START SPARRING OR SOME DEFENSIVE DRILLS, YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A MOUTH GUARD ALSO.  IF YOU DONT HAVE YOUR OWN HAND WRAPS OR GLOVE'S YOU CAN PURCHASE SOME IN CLUB.

BOXING FITNESS  

IF YOUR LOOKING TO GET YOUR HEART RATE PUMPING THEN THIS IS THE SESSION FOR YOU!  ITS AN ACTION PACKED 45MIN SESSION DESIGNED TO GET YOU INTO GREAT SHAPE.  

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

BOXING GLOVES AND HAND WRAPS.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO CONTACT IN THESE SESSIONS.  

 

MUAY THAI / KICK BOXING
MUAY THAI IS A COMBAT SPORT WHICH ORIGINATES FROM THAILAND.  UNLIKE TRADITIONAL BOXING, MUAY THAI INVOLVES STRIKING WITH EIGHT POINTS INCLUDING ELBOWS, KNEES, FEET AND HADS.
 
WHO IS MUAY THAI FOR?  
CLASSES ARE OPEN TO ALL FITNESS LEVELS AND EXPERIENCE LEVELS. IT IS AN EXCELLENT FULL BODY WORKOUT.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING...
PLEASE BRING GLOVES FOR YOUR FIRST SESSION. YOU CAN BORROW KICK PADS AND SHIN GUARDS. ONCE YOU HAVE GAINED ENOUGH EXPERIENCE, YOU MAY WANT TO BRING A MOUTH GUARD ALSO.

ADVANCED BOXING 

THESE SESSIONS ARE FOR EXPERIENCED BOXERS; SUCH AS ACTIVE AMATUR BOXERS OR THOSE LOOKING TO COMPETE IN THE FUTURE.  IF YOUR NEW TO THE CLUB PLEASE SPEAK TO ONE OF THE COACHING TEAM BEFORE ATTENDING THESE SESSIONS.  

 

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR 16OZ GLOVES AND A MOUTH GUARD.  

 

JUNIOR BOXING CLASSES 

BOXING IS A GREAT SPORT TO HELP OUR YOUNGER MEMBERS (AGED 10 -15) GAIN CONFIDENCE, IMPROVE THEIR FITNESS, LEARN SELF DISCIPLINE AND SELF DEFENCE. THE SESSIONS ARE ALWAYS FULLY SUPERVISED BY AN EXPERIENCED COACH.  THE CLASSES ARE DESIGNED TO BE FUN AND INTERACTIVE WHILST DEVELOPING REAL BOXING TECHNIQUE.  

OUR JR BOXING CLASSES RUN ON THE FOLLOWING DATES AND TIMES: 

MONDAY / TUESDAY / WEDNESDAY / THURSDAY / FRIDAY @ 4PM
